It’s such a lame name. But we know it as Meteor Garden here in the Philippines. It’s the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango, a popular Japanese manga about a group of rich and powerful boys named F4 (Flower 4) and one feisty commoner girl who wins the heart of all the F4 members.

I think BBF has the best wardrobe and location settings among 3 adaptations of the manga. But the plot is more cohesive in Meteor Garden than in BBF. But BBF is not as melodrama as the Taiwanese or the Japanese version. And I find its F4 characters more a-okay.

This has been keeping me up all night. I’m a sucker for Koreanovelas. They have better plots than their other Asian counterparts.
